 On November 28, 2025, the No. 16 University of Texas Longhorns defeated the No. 3 Texas A&M Aggies 27-17 in the historic Lone Star Showdown. Hosted at a packed Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, Texas, the high-stakes matchup drew an official attendance of 103,632 fans.

for the benefit of AMVETS 115.  (8:00 am shotgun start)

The event will include "closest to the pin, longest drive" competition   

We need AMVETS 115 volunteers to man some of the holes to record the event.

 Victory over Japan (VJ) Day in 2025 marked the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. The major commemorative dates for the observance fell on August 15 (when Japan's surrender was announced in 1945) and September 2 (the formal signing of the surrender).

On 29 March members of AMVETS Post 115 joined Americans united to thank and honor Vietnam veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice. It featured a Mexican/Tajanos breakfast (thank you Eddie) followed by honor guard vollies and taps.

   The Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act of 2017 was signed into law by U.S.  President Donald J. Trump, designating every March 29 as National Vietnam War Veterans Day...more.
