AMVETS Post 115 Challenge Coin
In August 2026 AMVETS Post 115 decided to create and share their own Challenge Coin. They are carried by members and/or given to people as appropriate.
Challenge coins can be traced back to ancient Rome. Roman soldiers who distinguished themselves in combat were sometimes given an extra coin stamped with the mark of their legion. These coins were kept rather than spent, because some currency is worth more than what it can buy.

Renovations
The wood deck has been replaced with a concrete slab with grooved ramp and metal railings.
More improvements are also in the works.
The front also has added a grooved ramp and safety markings painted on the parking lot surface..
